ARCHR Coffee + Bakery: Seasonal Campaign Design
My Role:
Graphic Designer & Illustrator
Deliverables:
Seasonal Menus, Campaign Graphics & Teasers, Social Media Assets, Custom Illustration
A series of seasonal campaigns created for ARCHR Café, translating each menu concept into its own distinct visual world. From creative direction and custom illustration to print and social, each campaign was designed to bring the season to life while feeling unmistakably ARCHR.
The project brief
ARCHR Café approached me to develop the visual direction for a seasonal menu launch, English Countryside. The campaign started with a distinct seasonal concept that I translated into a complete visual direction across the menu and supporting digital assets.
The goal was to give the launch its own personality while still feeling at home within ARCHR’s existing brand.
Defining the creative direction
For the English Countryside launch, ARCHR wanted an autumn campaign inspired by the Cotswolds, equestrian style, and the feeling of a countryside estate. The direction needed to feel warm and nostalgic, but still elevated and contemporary rather than traditional or overly rustic.
I developed the visual direction around deep seasonal tones, heritage-inspired typography, hand-drawn illustrations, and subtle references to English country life. These elements became the foundation for the menu and supporting campaign assets.
Exploring the menu direction
I developed several menu concepts to explore how the seasonal direction could take shape, experimenting with layout, typography, original illustration, and composition. Each option approached the English Countryside theme differently while working within the same overall creative direction.
Refining the selected direction
Once a direction was selected, I worked closely with ARCHR to refine the menus through feedback and iteration. The final designs evolved through adjustments to the layout, typography, illustrations, and content as the seasonal offering came together.
The final collection included both a drinks menu and a cookie menu, each featuring original hand-drawn illustrations and a custom hand-drawn display type created specifically for the campaign. Together, the two menus carried the English Countryside concept across the full seasonal offering while maintaining a cohesive visual language.
Building out the campaign graphics
The English Countryside direction extended beyond the printed menus into a series of digital assets created to support the seasonal launch. I adapted the visual language across social media while maintaining the typography, illustration style, colour palette, and details established in the menus.
The campaign included Instagram feed and Story versions of both menus, along with teaser graphics designed to introduce the theme ahead of launch. Each piece was adapted for its format while still feeling like part of the same seasonal collection.
The countryside campaign in context
Bringing the campaign into real-world settings was an important part of showing how the identity could live beyond the screen. The menus, social assets, and campaign graphics come together as one cohesive seasonal experience across ARCHR’s physical and digital touchpoints.
The final campaign balances the warmth and character of the English Countryside concept with ARCHR’s contemporary café identity, creating a seasonal launch that feels distinct while still belonging to the brand.
