Designing posters for Vancouver event culture.

My Role:

Graphic Design (concept development, illustration, layout design.)

Tools Used:

Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, Procreate, print layout & prototyping.

This poster series explores visual identity design through three fictional event campaigns. The series was created as an exploration of event branding and graphic design.

Promotional materials that generate excitement and anticipation.

The goal of this project was to create a series of event posters that communicate distinct atmospheres while exploring contemporary approaches to typography, composition, and visual storytelling. Each poster was designed as a unique identity system tailored to its audience and context.

Exploring the visual language of underground music culture.

Inspired by club scenes, this poster uses expressive illustration, bold typography, and a limited colour palette to capture the energy and atmosphere of a late-night music event.

Using scale and simplicity to create visual impact.

Bold typography, open space, and hand-drawn figures were used to create a lighthearted composition that emphasizes community, movement, and accessibility.

Creating a visual system built around connection.

A modular system of interconnected shapes and a vibrant colour palette were used to reflect the collaborative and inclusive nature of a community arts festival.
