Another Planet explores how branding can transform an everyday product into a narrative experience. Through concept development, visual identity design, and packaging exploration, the project uses speculative storytelling and bold graphic elements to create a brand that feels imaginative, rebellious, and otherworldly.
The ChallengeHow might a chocolate brand stand out in a saturated market while communicating a unique story and visual identity that feels bold, imaginative, and memorable?
The SolutionI created Another Planet as a sensory brand world rooted in the idea of wanting to be elsewhere. Through restrained typography, grounded color palettes, and surreal but minimal imagery, the chocolate is framed as an experience rather than a commodity.
Branding extending across touchpoints .
The identity of Another Planet Chocolate Company is designed to travel far beyond the chocolate bar. By applying the brand across apparel, accessories, and everyday items, the visual language transforms into a lifestyle statement. From graphic shopping bags to wearable pieces like t-shirts and hats, the brand creates touchpoints that live outside the store and become part of the culture.
Turning chocolate into a symbol of rebellion.
The design uses simple typography and a direct catchphrase, “I want to be on another planet”, to blur product and mindset. By placing the brand’s name inside the sentence, the shirt becomes both an ad and a personal statement: design as identity, not just merchandise.
